Oilfield Helping Hands (OHH), a non-profit organization helping oilfield families in financial crisis due to no fault of their own, has announced that Nashville recording artist Carson Beyer will perform “The Rocks” benefitting OHH at the Unconventional Resources Technology Conference (URTeC) 2020 online.
Rising country star, Carson Beyer, will kick off URTeC with a world-premiere performance of his new single, “The Rocks,” co-written and produced by Beyer and Grammy winner Sergio Sanchez. The 3-day energy industry event, held fully online due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis, begins on Monday, July 20, with the performance scheduled for 9:00 a.m. U.S. CDT.
Alan Wegener, URTeC project director, said, “The oil and gas industry has been shaken by an oil price war and global pandemic since the beginning of the year so we wanted a song that would engage people, make them smile, and hopefully move them to feel good about what they do. “The Rocks” is a fun, apolitical anthem acknowledging the broad contributions of folks working in the oil and gas industry. It’s a two-chord, straight talking, foot-stomping, hit-worthy song about the positive impacts that petroleum and petroleum-based products have on peoples’ everyday lives. URTeC is pleased to partner with Carson and OHH and we hope folks download and enjoy the song.”
Beyer is donating all streaming profits from “The Rocks” to OHH. Therefore, anyone can make a difference by just downloading, listening to and sharing “The Rocks” on Apple, Spotify, Google Play, Amazon and more.
