he 2019 inaugural OHH Rockies Fishing Tournament had an incredible first year. The tournament was hosted on Saturday, June 1 at Tobacco Gardens Resort & Marina in Watford City, ND. A total of 747.48 pounds of fish were weighed from 60 boats filled with 161 fishers. With the support of our participants and sponsors, the event raised $30,719 for OHH Rockies! These funds will be distributed to oilfield families in financial crisis throughout the Rocky Mountain region.
Congratulations to our top five teams: Bob’s Oilfield Service, Nabors, MBI Energy Services, WPX Energy and Enerplus Montana. The total prize payout for the top five placing teams was an exciting $20,500!
A special thank you to everyone who showed their support, making year one of the fishing tournament a great success. Whether it was through donations, sponsorships, team purchases, or purchasing prize drawing tickets, every penny and every volunteer made a difference.
