The Haynesville Chapter participated in the 31st Annual East Texas Oilman’s Chili Cook-off in Kilgore on October 23 & 24. We took home 1st Place in the Showmanship Division for our Tailgate Skit.

Before we all leave the oilfield for Hollywood to pursue our acting careers, we’d like to thank Texas Tech (Brianna Burdett of Thomas Oilfield Services), Patrick Mahomes & the Kansas City Chiefs (Leslie Harris of Alamo Oilfield Services and Treasurer OHH- Haynesville ), Taylor Swift, Dak Prescott & the Dallas Cowboys (Allie Mori of Shale Energy Resources), Brett Farve & the Green Bay Packers (Tara Brown of Shale Energy Resources), the Texas Rangers (Miranda Kennedy of Shale Energy Resources and Secretary OHH- Haynesville), & the Referees (Franki Osburn of Thomas Oilfield Services and VP OHH-Haynesville) for the inspiration they gave us for the skit.

A HUGE thank you to Chris Bynum and Ben Corley from Intense Wireline for cooking for us both days! We had the best chili! They have been our cook team the last 4 years. We greatly appreciate them volunteering their time.
