Dear Oilfield Helping Hands Family,
We are all experiencing the effects of falling oil prices and the COVID-19 virus and are entering a time in our lives that few of us have experienced. Now, more than ever, it is crucial that we pull together, lift each other up and remain Oilfield Strong to make it through this challenging time.
For the first time in the 16 years that OHH has been helping oilfield families in financial crisis due to no fault of their own, we may be facing a financial hardship of our own in the future. We primarily raise money through events and corporate sponsorships and have had to postpone or cancel events across multiple chapters due to the virus. Corporate sponsorships have been impacted as well, as member companies are making difficult decisions.
For OHH, regardless of the current state of events, our mission remains solid, unchanged, and even more significant. At this time, we are planning to resume meetings and events in June, though some of these may change. Please continue to watch the OHH website and social media for further updates.
