The Eagle Ford Chapter will partner with OHH to promote an inter-industry sense of support to the Eagle Ford Shale Basin by fostering a network of like-minded individuals to improve the lives and working conditions of those in the oilfield industry. The new chapter will cover the respective counties: Uvalde, Medina, Bexar, Guadalupe, Gonzales, LaSalle, Frio, McMullen, Atascosa, Wilson, Zavala, Dimmit, Maveric, Lavaca, Jackson, Victoria, Aransas, Calhoun, DeWitt, Goliad, Karnes, Live Oak, Bee, Refugio, Webb, Zapata, Duval, Jim Hogg, Nueces, Jim Wells, Brooks, Hidalgo, Starr, Cameron, Willacy, Kenedy, Kleberg, San Patricio, Travis, Bastrop and Caldwell.  The Eagle Ford Chapter will start accepting applications for assistance in early 2025.

The new chapter signifies the growth and commitment OHH has for supporting and strengthening the people of the oil and gas industry. The Eagle Ford Chapter will provide an opportunity for additional industry employees, who meet the eligibility criteria, to benefit from OHH’s assistance.

The founding leadership team includes President David Ybarra of Golden Ranch Energy Services, Vice President Larry Gonzales of TES, LLC., Vice President Hector Rodriguez III of Bestway Oilfield, Treasurer Elisa Lozano of Arguindegui Oil Company, Secretary Armetta DeBord of Arguindegui Oil Company, Event Coordinator Grant Goetz of Dragon Products Ltd, and Membership Committee Chair, Yvonne Vega of Centurion.

Since 2003, OHH has granted over $6.4 million to more than 1,000 industry workers and their families. What began as a small fundraising effort for a family facing unforeseen medical expenses became a national organization. The Eagle Ford Chapter joins five active OHH chapters within the US oilfield community, including Appalachia (Eastern Ohio, Northern West Virginia and Pennsylvania), Haynesville (East Texas and northwest Louisiana), Permian Basin (West Texas and eastern New Mexico), Rocky Mountain (Colorado, Utah, and Wyoming), and its flagship location, Houston.
