The 10th Annual OHH-Houston Fall Clays kicked off at Westside Sporting Grounds on a beautiful and warm October day. Despite current market conditions and predictions for a drop in participation, the turnout was sizable, spirits were high and folks were ready for a great day of fellowship and competition on the range. The event welcomed new sponsors and several new faces to OHH – all instantly won over from witnessing the team work and effort put into the tournament by its volunteers and committee members.
This year’s shoot held a morning flight for over 300 participants and was followed by an incredible BBQ lunch that featured a raffle, gun squares and the awarding of a slew of door prizes.
“There’s nothing better than a Friday afternoon – full of love and charity for a fantastic organization! I am so proud of the committee and how they worked together so well to have such a successful event,” stated event co-chair Amanda Shives.
The tournament grossed over $75,000 – the majority of which will go directly to oilfield families in need. All things consider, the event was an absolute success.
